My Story
Photography has been one of my passions ever since my grandpa (pictured in the second slide) lent me his camera for the first time as a little kid. I quickly became my "family's photographer," and a passion was born. I started entering photography contests when I was ten years old and it has become a favorite hobby since. I am now at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University; I am studying Visual Communications with a focus in Photojournalism, and I hope to make a career out of my favorite hobby some day. People always ask "why?" I take photos, I take pictures that make me feel something. I cannot always explain why I took a picture just that it felt right and I needed to capture it. There isn't always a reason behind a photograph, just a moment of inspiration that led to it.
